The room

Large and sunny furnished bedroom in an owner-occupied 3-family building. The owner lives on the ground floor.
There are 2 rooms (each with private bathroom) located on and occupying the whole second floor with private entrance for the 2 rooms.
They share a hallway with a fridge, a microwave, and a kettle. There is no kitchen access.
The block, part of Central Harlem Historic District, is one of the prettiest in the neighborhood, with majestic mature trees bordering 19th Century brownstones.
There are oak floors throughout. The bedroom has a Queen sized bed.
Close to everything. 15mn by bus to Columbia University or City College, and many other universities.
All utilities included.

There is a laundromat 2 blocks away, and a Whole Foods Market is 5 blocks from the house.
Lots of restaurants, Red Rooster, ChaiWali, Harlem Shake, Shake Shack, etc. Lots of jazz clubs, The Shrine, Ginny's, The Apollo Theatre, The National Jazz Museum and great shopping., Victoria's Secret, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Jimmy Jazz, etc
Near public transportation, the 2 or 3 train is 5 minutes from the house. The 4, 5, 6, and A, B, C, D are 10 minutes away.
It's a 20 min train ride to Times Square.
