Room for rent in a shared apartment in Hamilton Heights, available to move in as soon as February 1st.

Details: 3 bed, 1 bath apartment, available room is $1,000 a month including utilities and wifi. Cats are welcome. This can be a long-term sublet / lease takeover, it will be available until at least October 2021, or it can also be more short term.

There is one cat, plus a female roommate (who was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine and now works in social services) and a male roommate (who was a Peace Corps Volunteer in South Africa and is now in grad school). We are both pretty quiet and would largely give you space to do your own thing, but are still friendly, respectful people to share a space with.

The apartment is in a great location in very close walking distance of views overlooking the Hudson River and the 151st Street Pedestrian Bridge, which gives easy access to Riverbank State Park. It is also near lots of grocery stores and restaurants, with a laundromat adjacent to the building. Conveniently located around a 5-minute walk to the 1 train on 145th Street and a 10- minute walk to the A/C/D/B station on 145th.

The available room is the last room in the video and has a closet as well as a fire-escape connected window (with nice, high ceilings throughout the apartment). There is also a bed frame, mattress, and dresser available if interested. There is enough space to add a small desk next to the bed.
