Amazingly Sun-Drenched Room in 2Br,in-unit Laundry

I will be moving in Dec and am looking for a subletter for my room in a great 2-bedroom apartment. The location is fantastic: just 2 blocks from the A/C/B/D at 145th and about the same from the 1 train. It is a second floor walk-up. The bedroom has three giant, oversize, South-facing windows and gets a truly incredible amount of natural light at all times of year. Hardwood floors, renovated kitchen with a dishwasher, nice bathroom, and laundry in-unit! I wouldn't be leaving except that I am buying my own place. My roommate is lovely and quiet. We keep things clean and low maintenance but aren't strict about it. (It's slightly messier than normal in a some of the photos because I've started to pack a bit.) We have permission from management to paint, although it's currently a nice white so I haven't felt the need. Very close to two grocery stores (one near each subway), a hardware store, dollar store, urgent care, pharmacy, restaurants and bars, coffee shops, basically everything. Hudson River walk is close by with beautiful views of the river, and we're also walking distance from a couple of different parks.
If you are only interested in the sublet through the end of June I will just need a reference and proof that you can afford rent (proof of employment such as pay stubs, or a current bank statement). You will sign a subletter agreement with me and there will be a $1225 security in addition to the first months rent, prorated depending on your move-in date.

If interested in staying past June you can consider signing the lease in April with my roommate. Please note the management company does charge fees for application and lease change that you would be responsible for. Details upon request.
