This apartment is conveniently close to the 1, A, B, C, D trains (only a 5 minute walk) and schools like City College and Columbia (within walking distance or a short bus ride away).

$1,800 plus utilities (wifi, hot water, central heat & AC, electric/gas, laundry in unit) I am looking for a August move in date.

The entire apartment is over 1300 square feet and the basement level floor will be entirely yours. In the downstairs space there is a private room with larger closet as well as a den/living room area and private half bathroom for your convenience. I used to rent out the rooms separately but I would like to combine the entire space for either a couple looking for more space or any working professional who doesn?t want to leave in a standard NYC shoebox apartment anymore. While I don?t have a bed for you, I have other furniture currently in the space if you need some furnishing. If you have your own furniture that?s fine too!

Upstairs there is another living room with large TV, kitchen, washer/dryer, full bathroom with shower(this will be shared), my bedroom, as well as access to the large backyard which is great during the warmer months. We also have our own private gate entrance to the apartment as well as access to the main entryway/lobby.


I am 28 year old writer/nanny. I love my space and I am looking for someone mature to share it with. I am looking for something more long-term, but short term can also be arranged. You will need to sign a basic sublease contract with me but I do not require a credit check since the apartment is already in my name. You will need to give me first month?s rent as well as $1,000 security deposit(half months rent).

NOTE: Must be okay with cats! Two cats live on the premises. Depending on the situation I am not opposed to other pets living on the property.
