Hello, I'm looking for a female (non-smoking) undergrad or grad student who is considerate, quiet and mature to rent my semi-furnished room in my quite, bright, clean apartment located in the West Village (Manhattan). This location has it all, and I mean all and is steps away from NYU and an easy commute to many other locations of higher learning. This in my apt. so you will be signing a lease me, I will not be a roommate but your landlord. Again, looking for a mature student that understands that.

The building is a walk-up and the apartment is located on the 5th floor. There are two bedrooms off a large eat-in kitchen. (No common living room). Your 7' X 11' room is furnished with a futon, chair, desk, desk lamp, ceiling fan and has a small closet. This is ideal for someone traveling light as I would prefer you to use my plates, utensils, glasses, pots and pans etc. as kitchen storage is tight.

Apt. is located near 61ACDEFMNQRW subway lines and lots of bus options are available. Shopping, restaurants and bars galore! Grocery store is one block away. There is in-building laundry or a one day drop off laundry right next door.

I am a female, former actress in my 40’s a 8:30a – 5:30p WFH right now. I work out of my bedroom so you won't see much of me. I’m quiet yet fun loving and
I have a very friendly cat. She will not come in your room unless you allow her to. It would be great if you are willing to feed her if go on vacation. I would be grateful and that would be a plus + !!

The apartment is available Sept. 1st with a possibility of coming in earlier on Aug. 30st. I am looking for at least a 9 month school-year commitment.

Terms:
Monthly rent is $1,250.00 with utilities included (electricity, gas, water, heat and Internet). I will require a $1,000.00 security deposit and 1st months rent.
