It’s a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit with the entire top floor. The building is 20 years old and has an elevator and laundry room. The backyard is large and communal.

I’m a young professional (consultant/statistician/strategist) who lost my job this year which is the main reason I’m posting this ad.. I don’t need two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

The living area is large with an open kitchen and dining area. Most people exaggerate the space of their East Village apartments, but this is roughly 1700-2200+ sq ft. when you include the non-communal wrap around rooftop. Each bedroom has its own bathroom (mine has a private indoor bathroom). There are 3 extra closets. Each bedroom has its own PRIVATE ACCESS directly to the rooftop where you can see the entire vertical view of Manhattan due to our location (EV). I also have some furniture on my penthouse outdoor including a mini grill, turf, umbrellas, chairs, tables, lounge chairs, beanie bags, etc.

Again, this is a penthouse - one of a kind. Sure, it’s not “luxury”, but it’s charming and cozy! See for yourself. The views are breathtaking and truly amazing because you are still in the city but get the Brooklyn/LIC view due to the natural shape that protrudes out in the LES.

I’m located right by Tompkins Sq. park and my dog (pastore maremmano-abruzzese) is currently not here with me at the moment (she’s on Long Island with family) I live alone and my girlfriend lives in Florida. The current tenants and neighbors are all quite friendly and conscientious New Yorkers.

Must be chill and cool. But I’m looking for an accountable, responsible, reliable, and genuinely good person to be my roommate that is focused on his/her career and studies. Looking for someone who I can also get along with and workout with. An ideal roommate should be conscientious and someone who is looking to be the best version of themselves by pushing themselves and others and that is my intention as well. Preferably someone who is driven, inspired, passionate, and looking to make their dreams come true. Someone who is tidy, dependable, trustworthy, and comes from a decent upbringing. If you want to smoke, step outside your bedroom and do it outside please. Preferably someone educated from Long Island/NJ but not required. Please do not let this scare you off, I know how to have fun too, but I want to find a roommate that also has dreams and aspirations in life. I’m okay with small groups of parties, normally my place can accommodate 40+ people for gatherings but covid...
