Great Room for Rent in East Harlem

We are a couple with an extra room in our spacious and safe building. We both work from home 3-4 days a week. Who are we? He works in the shipping industry, she is currently rocking the non-profit world. We are in our early 40s and appreciate the peace that comes with this building. We are pretty chill and would like a clean, quiet roommate. We are very COVID-conscious and careful and prefer the same.

The apartment is pretty open and spacious with a full kitchen with a gas range, dishwasher, etc. This building has a fully accessible entrance and doormen who can assist. There is also a laundry room, a community room, a community garden, and an outside courtyard. Your bathroom has a tub sink and vanity. There’s a good-sized closet and two windows in your bedroom, with a lot of light coming into the room daily. We can send you more pictures if you need as well.

We are 5 blocks from 125th Street in Harlem. He uses the 2/3 train to commute to FiDi 1-2 times per week, 116th Street Station is about 5 blocks away. 6 Train is even closer. There is the M125 and M101 on 125th Street, the M1 on Madison Ave where the apartment is, and Metro North a short walk away. It is also close to a number of restaurants, bars, and clubs along 125th Street. We are close to Marcus Garvey Park.

To move in, we will need 1 month in advance, and 1 month of security deposit, in addition to doing a credit check. Utilities aren't included but also aren't much. Grad students w/ guarantors welcome.
