LOCATION:
I have 1 bedroom available in a small 2 bedroom apartment in East Harlem, about a 6 minute walk away from the 4, 5, and 6, as well as a 5 minute walk from the 2 and 3.

The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood of East Harlem, right across from Marcus Garvey Park. It's about a 6 minute walk from Whole Foods and is surrounded by a bunch of other food options.

AMENITIES:
Coin laundry is in the building and there is some (limited) street parking. Water and heater is included in the rent, but gas, and electric are separate and cost about $60 total each month (so about $30 per person each month). If you'd like internet, you have to purchase that separately (the roommate uses her hotspot).

The lease is from June 15th until August 31st, with an opportunity to renew if interested.

The room can come furnished with a bed, dressers and bookshelf. It can also come unfurnished if need be.

ABOUT THE ROOMMATE:
The current roommate is a really nice, quiet, clean 24-year-old teacher who will be moving out in July because she's getting married, so you'll only interact with her for about a month. A recent women graduate who will be interning in the city during the summer will be taking over her spot.
