Furnished Large Sunny Bedroom

I'm leaving New York to start my own NGO abroad. I need someone to take over my lease, which lasts until the end of May. If I stayed in New York, I would definitely continue to live here without question.

The apartment is a 2 bedroom and, if you decided to take over my lease, you would be taking over my bedroom and you would live with my current roommate. We're both in our 20's and moved here after finishing school.

Neighborhood: The apartment is located two blocks from the 6 line, which lets you shoot up and down Manhattan. Also, it is just a couple of blocks away from Central Park on foot. The neighborhood is in East Harlem, which I very much enjoy since it is less noisy than midtown but there is still a lot going on nearby. Even though East Harlem used to have a reputation as a dangerous neighborhood, I have never once felt in danger after living here for more than a year.

Apartment: It has a washer/dryer in the apartment, there is a dishwasher in the kitchen, and a nice living room with a TV/couch. It has a lot of natural light, which is important to me. Most of our friends also say we have a very spacious apartment for New York standards.

I am looking for someone to take over the lease starting February 1, so let me know as soon as possible if you are interested. I would be happy to show you the place if you want to stop by and take a look.
