Columbus Circle: Room for Sublet Mid-Aug/Sept-Nov
Room in a 2 bedroom apartment for sublet. Comes furnished with a twin bed, large dresser, and chair, though this can all be cleared out should you wish to bring your own furniture. It's small but comfortably fits everything I own with enough space for yoga and home workouts.
This is a railway apartment, meaning the other roommate, a female graphic designer in her mid-twenties, may need to walk through this room to get to the kitchen. This has never been an issue for me as she is very respectful and easy going and there is a separate kitchen entrance from the hallway when I need complete privacy. Additionally, the roommate has been working remotely away from the city since March so I've basically had the apartment to myself the past few months (no guarantee that this will continue being the case, but it is a possibility).
Sublet is for September through November but move-in date is flexible from mid-August onwards. August rent has already been paid so early move-in would be free. We do not plan on renewing the lease and the roommate will be moving out when it terminates in November. We can inquire with the landlord should you wish to stay past November and renew - this is a rent stabilized apartment and is a great deal for the convenience and location, which is a block from Columbus Circle and A C B D 1 stops.
Move-in requirements: 1 month rent and security deposit (equal to 1 month rent). The building requires an application and credit check, which costs $125. Utilities and internet are usually around $60-75/month.
If interested, please send a message telling us a little about yourself.
