Private Room for Rent in 2Bed/2Bath Condo
Hi! I'm looking to rent out a private, unfurnished room/bathroom in a 2 bed/2 bath condo in Studio City. The condo is located in the lovely Woodbridge Park neighborhood and is convenient to Ventura Blvd., the 101, 134 and 170. It's a short walk to the cute restaurants and shops of Tujunga Village, and a quick drive or walk to Ralphs, Baskin Robbins, CVS, and many other nearby shops and restaurants on Ventura Blvd. It's just a 5 minute drive to Universal Studios, Citywalk, and the Metro Red line.
The property comes with a pool, gym, and your own, reserved parking spot in a well-lit, gated garage. There is a washer and dryer inside the unit. The neighborhood feels very safe and all parts of the complex are well lit with video security. The property manager is great to deal with and the neighbors are all very friendly.
A little about me: I'm a professional, employed female in her early 50s and there are two things you'll notice as soon as you walk in the door... I'm a sci-fi nerd and a cat person. Of course, that's not the kind of thing you might put on a dating app, but great information for a potential roommate! I do have a couple of cats so if you don't like cats enough to live with them (or are allergic), don't apply! I'm fairly new to the L. A. area (I'm a Texas gal!) so am still getting to know the area and discovering new restaurants, things to do, etc. I do have some odd work hours so I generally go to bed in the early evening and get up REALLY early during the week. My bedroom/bathroom area has a door that shuts it off from the main living area so noise isn't too much of an issue. I also love sports and am always up for a hike or some sort of outdoor activity. As much as I try to be healthy, I do love junk food and a nice glass of wine.
I'm looking for an employed, responsible, female roommate. I'm no neat freak but definitely would like someone who is respectful and can clean up after themselves. No drugs or smoking allowed. I'm not looking to make this unit the party condo of the complex but of course it would be fine to have friends over. My former roommate recently relocated to a house closer to her new job and took most of the furniture from the living area and patio. So far I have only replaced a few items, including the couch and coffee table, so if you have some extra furniture you were hoping to bring, there might be space for it. I'm still in the process of refurnishing and redecorating the main living areas.
