Private Room in Los Angeles Apartment

Hello!

My name is Brooke and I’m looking for a roommate for early October. The room will be unfurnished for move in and has dimensions of 10’2” x 11’6”. The rest of the 1,100 sq ft apartment is furnished with shared storage space in the hallway and living room, and I am open to furniture or decorations you’d like to add. There is one shared bathroom.

The apartment building is located on a cul-de-sac in Jefferson Park off of the 10 freeway, near Koreatown, West Adam’s, USC, and about 15 minutes from downtown. My favorite features of the apartment are friendly neighbors, easy parking access, open floor plan and plenty of natural light.

I’m a 27 year old full-time graduate student studying to be a Marriage and Family Therapist. I work at a school 2 days a week and attend class virtually from my room on the other weekdays. I value open communication as we work to consider each other’s schedules and preferences, and I am hoping to keep a friendly and homey atmosphere in the apartment while also respecting each other’s privacy. I am fostering my friend’s adorable cat for the next month, and I’d prefer to not have other pets in the apartment.

Management at my apartment is requiring the applicant to see the unit in person before applying. The application fee is $35 and utilities are approximately $50/month.
