Seeking a roommate to sublet 1 unfurnished bedroom + 1 bath in a spacious sunlit 2 bedroom + 2 bath apartment in the heart of Sherman Oaks. Lovely office space created in the living room for remote working. Rent controlled. Tandem parking, balcony, coin laundry on premises. Pool, sauna and gym (closed during pandemic). The building was recently remodeled and retrofitted. Steps away from the Van Nuys Sherman Oaks park, minutes from groceries stores, Ventura Blvd and the 101/405 freeways.
I am a professional woman in her 40s, working remotely during the pandemic (office space in my room). I spend my afternoons/evenings and weekends helping my elderly parents at their nearby house. I'm a painter and a huge fan of standup comedy. You’ll have full house privileges, but I am in the high-risk group for Covid-19 and want a conscientious roommate who respects the need to keep our home safe and will agree to some common-sense rules. I have a super chill dog that’ll be your best friend for cuddles. Male, 4yrs, 45lbs, just sleeps. :) I find it works best when you genuinely love dogs. You'll have all the perks of having a dog with none of the responsibilities :-). No other pets please. We want someone who sincerely wants to share a home longterm – peaceful, considerate, kind, positive, drama-free, no partying, trustworthy, responsible, good judgement, communicative, clean.
