Master Room & Private Bath 80’s Westside Complex

Hello! I'm looking for a new roommate ASAP. Mine was wonderful, she left for an opportunity in Spain, and the roommate I had lined up to replace last minute wasn’t able to move in afterall...

My apartment unit is a 2BD/2BA, situated just north of Culver City and just south of Cheviot Hills in 90034. Rent is about $1000/month plus utilities and deposit, comes with the master room and private bath, tandem parking space in downstairs garage, coin-op washer and dryer on site, but not in unit. Room has two large wall-sized windows, and a wall-sized closet, with carpet throughout the place. Apartment is from the 70's/80's, with several features inside from the same era, though still classy, sits on a fairly noisy street with an intersection at it, BUT the master room is farthest from the street. If you do lots of VO work or require complete silence to sleep, then this place may not be for you 🙂 There's a fireplace and balcony in the living room, which makes it home'y; and there's already furniture arranged for the common rooms, which has ample natural light. No central AC or heat! Bring your fans and space heaters, haha.

The unit is month-to-month, but would prefer someone signing onto the lease for about a year (which includes a $40 processing fee, I believe), preferably non-smoking, and not have any pets.

I ask for someone who's respectful and responsible above all else. Age doesn’t matter much, as long as you’re mature. Looking for someone who doesn’t have a ton of stuff, as it would likely crowd out the established space. Someone who’s in and out helps fit my being in and out, so that we each get some privacy from time to time 😉 If you love randomly cleaning, detest crumbs on the stove, prefer always-vacuumed floors, know how to take the trash out when it’s full and not just when it’s “your turn”, you totally get bonus points! It's super cool to be friends, but also not a requirement.

I've learned I enjoy living with someone who has a faith background, as I’m a Christian. In a world where we feel continually pulled apart, it's nice to have some things in common, though totally not a deal breaker! Don’t get me wrong, I still have a potty mouth and enjoy the routine glass(es) of wine, lol.

Me: I'm an actor, I work with kids, and like home to be a safe haven where the craziness stays outside. I try my best to keep the house feeling cozy/clean and ask that you also keep common areas clean. I have friends over on very rare occasions for wine and cheese, but honestly prefer fewer guests to more. Don’t usually have music blasting either. I think the older I get, the more I enjoy quiet/peace in my space 🙌🏼 oh, and I’m a plant hoarder..... lol
