I’m looking for a trans-friendly Covid-conscious roommate. It’s a lovely large 2B1B (1200sqft) 1930’s style first floor apartment right in the middle of a quiet residential cross-street in Mid-Wilshire, a four minute walk from Target and Sprouts as well as a lot of great restaurants (including Roscoe’s and Lucy’s 24/7 Drive Thru) and bus-stops. You can hear birds with the windows open.
The apartment has a recently renovated full kitchen with oven, stove, fridge, and dishwasher; on-site laundry and in-unit washer/dryer hookup; single car garage parking (all yours, I don’t need it) included and three unreserved parking spaces behind the building; central heating; confirmed install of portable or possibly wall AC units in Spring (although it stays very cool inside and may not need it); recently renovated bathroom (large shower but no tub); and walk-in closets in both rooms.
It’s pet friendly and there’s no pet deposit. I have one cat, who has tolerated living with other cats twice before.
Shared spaces are furnished, but decorating is flexible if you want to add your own spin to the common areas. It is rent-controlled and the landlord has been extremely accommodating so far, and the place is well-maintained.
