Private Room W/ Separate Office in Elysian Heights
Hello!!
I have two rooms (one bedroom and one extra room for whatever you may want to use it for) for rent in a beautiful, spacious, and light-filled condo in Elysian Heights/Echo Park.
Utilities range from $75-100 dollars a month per tenant depending on use of AC/Heat/Water. We split them evenly (all utilities are split amongst all tenants - my partner and I will pay 2/3 of the utilities).
The Condo is three floors. The first floor has plenty of storage and our game room. The second floor is an open floor plan with a kitchen, dining room, balcony, backyard, guest bathroom, and living room. The third floor has an in-unit washer/dryer, master suite, two bedrooms, and a bathroom.
Your Space: There are two spacious rooms and a private bedroom available for rent in the home (3rd floor). Both have closet space, plenty of light, and privacy. The two rooms are down the hall from the master suite so there aren't any issues of privacy/noise. You can use both rooms however you please, whether thats turning the second rooms into a studio/office/or living or game room. I would prefer to have only one person move in at the time.
Shared Space: The second floor is all shared space. It is furnished with modern-comfy finishes. The kitchen has brand new appliances, plenty of pantry space, and lots of light. The living room has surround sound and lots of plants.
The first floor is also a shared area. There is storage inside our garage for bikes, boxes, and whatever else you may need stored.
About Us: I live with my partner in the master suite. We are two 20-something young professionals who are friendly, respectful and communicate well. I am a union organizer and passionate about my work. I work from home from 10am-6pm so the house is usually quiet during business hours. My boyfriend is currently unemployed. We are respectful of time/noise on week days (usually are in bed by around 10pm) and on weekends are not big partiers (usually in bed by midnight). Pre-covid, we enjoyed having friends over but now that we are in quarantine, we have avoided having folks over and are very safe. We like to cook and are very cleanly. We also have taken on re-doing our backyard so that is in the works. My small dog, Mojito is quiet and friendly. We would prefer the newest roommate not have a dog but will allow dogs under 20 pounds.
You: We will accept anyone of any gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity, or age. We prefer someone who is responsible, cleanly, and friendly. We are really easy going but like to keep the shared spaces clean.
Photos: Only one of the rooms is vacant currently so only one of them is pictured. The tenant living here currently is moving out so she can move in with her boyfriend. I will gladly do a FaceTime or in-person tour of all rooms though.
