Recently renovated 1935 home has early 1900’s styling with modern functionality. Master suite with 3/4 bathroom and huge closet available. Common spaces include beautiful great-room style living and kitchen area with lofted ceiling and fireplace, and lots of light. Hardwood floors throughout. Very nice appliances. Outdoor space is mostly CA Native plants to support our local wildlife. Yard includes a small lawn surrounded by large shrubs that provide screening and privacy. There’s a lovely bakery just 1/2 block away. Walk to Trader Joe’s, lots of restaurants, a couple of bars and the park. Occidental about 1.5 miles away. Off-street stacked parking, on-site laundry. Shared gas, water, electricity, waste, internet and landscape maintenance costs in addition to monthly rent.

Kind, clean, sustainability minded and highly communicative owner/occupant needs same from tenants. Be who you are, love who you love, tell us when there’s a concern, hopefully before its a problem. But in our house common areas are expected to be kept tidy. The kitchen is to be kept clean. No dirty dishes left out, no food rotting in the refrigerator. All household members are expected to recycle and compost correctly and to minimize what they send to the landfill. Water conservation is a must. No smoking inside or near doors. No planting in the ground without first clearing with owner.

Vaccines keep all of us safe, science is real and so is systemic racism, abortion is health care and health care is a human right. If tenants are happy to act accordingly a very special pet might be considered.
