Affordable large space available in loft-style living in the heart of the Arts District, and within walkable distance to DTLA, two minutes walk from Southern California Institute of Architecture, and less than 10 minutes walk to the nearest Metro, and to little Tokyo.

Short term lease starting from October ? until the new year. The room has direct access to the roof, which comes with great views over downtown LA and a community full of friends, musicians, students, and creative professionals.

The rent is $1050 per month, plus one month's deposit. Utilities included, minus the internet.

Three people (two girls, 31 and 33, and a guy 29) currently live in the loft: a musician, a comedian, and a graphic design student.

It is a short term lease as I am going to Europe to work, but will return at the beginning of the new year. However, the building is excellent, and first, you are here; it is usually easy to get another space in the building.

It is a 108-year-old converted industrial space. The building has a freight elevator.

From the building, there is easy access to Little Tokyo, Union Station, art galleries, music, food, and drinks.

The main space of the loft is kept open and active, so while the space affords a lot of freedom, cleanliness and respect are important, and we always seek a communal spirit in the loft.
