Note: $800 dollars a month is for a single tenant (2,400/3=$800). For a couple, the rent would be split 4 ways between everyone: 2,400/4=$600 a person, or $1,200 for the room.

Hello! My name is Sam Knechtenhofer and I'm sharing my bedroom with my girlfriend, Whitney Croll and have a spare room. We have a nicely finished apartment in the Hollypark Knolls community in Inglewood.

The community is beautiful. It is gated with a 24/7 security guard and regularly maintained landscaping. There are free to use gas grills just outside our door and a laundry room a short walk (~250 ft) away. The community is close to the new stadium and the forum and only a few minutes drive from the century shopping center with fast food, restaurants, a target, Aldi's, and even Costco! It also has easy access to the highways. We can get to downtown in 30 min of traffic and are only 10-15 min from the beach!

The common spaces are fully furnished with hand-made furniture that I built throughout college with nice light fixtures and colorfully painted walls. The floors are laminate hard wood. I even installed wifi smart switches on all the lights so you can control them from your phone.

The living room has a large TV. The bathroom has a shower and bath. The kitchen has a stainless steel fridge and stove with a kitchen island and tiled counter tops. We also have a pet Beta fish! (Named Mr. Beta and he is very personable)

The room is large, has 2 windows, a large closet and ceiling fan. You are free to paint the walls and decorate the room as you wish. I don't have pictures for the room, as our current roommate hasn't moved out yet, but I added photos of our bedroom which is similar size. I also attached a picture of the floorplan.

I handle all the rent and bills and the roommates pay me once a month. Everything (rent, gas, electric, water, trash, sewer, internet) consistently comes out to 760-800 a month.

As for Whitney and I, we are both 23 year old college grads. I am an engineer at SpaceX and am really only home late at night and on weekends. Whitney is a finance associate in El Segundo and she does an excellent job keeping the common areas tidy. Of course, we expect everyone to pick up their messes in common areas.

In our free time, we love to explore the California outdoors. We try to do something new every weekend, be it a new trail, bungy jumping, sky diving, or exploring a new part of the city. The more people to join the better!
