Hello, my name is Sam, and thanks for taking a look at my post for a room to rent. This is a great living situation for the right person.

I'm looking for 1 laid back, cool, considerate, clean n/s to rent a light filled furnished or non furnished bedroom, your choice, with lots of closet space, in a furnished apartment that has fabulous natural light, high ceilings, sky views above the neighborhood that go for several miles. Located in Brentwood (not adjacent. Close to Santa Monica, Westwood, West LA ), it really is a nice location and there are many fine restaurants, bars, coffee houses and quick eateries within walking distance. Bus stops are close buy if you need them. About 2 miles from UCLA, and 3 miles from the beach.... The air quality for being in a large city is excellent, Nice cool ocean breezes keeps the temps down in the summer much lower than Hollywood or the Valley.

This 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit has a large balcony with a water garden/fountain/plants and turf which adds more of a nature vibe than most apartments you come across. With lots of plants and minimum clutter in the living areas, the unit has great energy, and everyone that enters the first time always comments on how much they like/love the place.

The room comes furnished or non furnished, your choice, has great light, a cool view, and a very large closet 12', that goes from wall to wall, floor to ceiling with lots of shelving.

I'm a single straight male, non smoking, professional creative self employed, who's party days are behind me. Please no smokers, drug users, or party animals.

My ideal roommate will be a student or professional, who like myself loves to come home to a clean, peaceful living environment to relax, and recharge.

Personally, my education is in the arts, and I make my living in related fields. I love to play racquetball, and hit the gym every week. I also love the ocean, and once in a while I hike the local trails. Enjoy live music, and I'm kind of a movie buff. I eat a lacto vegetarian diet, but I have no issues with what others like to eat. I keep the pad neat, and clean up after cooking. My friends would describe me as the nicest guy they know. . .. I can provide many references.
