The Room
The bedroom for rent is unfurnished but can easily fit a full/queen bed. It has a window and closet space. Lends space to get creative. The room is located next to the dining room and has one door to the shared bathroom. You would be sharing a bathroom with 1 other roommate.

House Atmosphere:
The room is in a lovely, renovated 2-bedroom home in Boyle Heights. The home is spacious 792 sq ft, with one Jack & Jill style bathroom, dining room with lots of natural light and house plants, kitchen, a full living room, and front porch. Currently residing in the home is one queer woman in her early thirties. Your roommate will be a friendly artist and communications professional. Tiled floors throughout, comfy living room, the kitchen has a refrigerator and gas stove, one full bathroom. The house has stairs leading up to the house, a front porch and yard, an elementary school and public library on our street, and delicious restaurants nearby.

Housemate should be mindful and respectful of shared space, help keep the house clean, have good communication skills, and pay rent/utilities in a timely fashion.

Transit/Parking
2 blocks away from Metro Gold Line and minutes from Downtown, Arts District, East LA, and surrounding neighborhoods. Street parking only.

Logistics:
Move-in would be May 1st. Rent is $1050 not including utilities. Utilities (Gas/WiFi) range from $40-50 each month, depending on the season. Electricity, water, and trash is billed every-other-month from anywhere $85-$120. These quoted numbers are half the totals, giving you an idea of what you would be responsible for. Security deposit is $1100. To move in, we require $1100 security deposit and first month?s rent. The contract and background check will be handled by the landlord.
