One bedroom for rent in a large 2 bed 1 bath downstairs apartment. The apartment building itself was built in 1928 and is a Spanish-style 4plex with a courtyard and laundry room located in the rear. The unit has high ceilings, beautifully detailed hardwood floors and lots of character--a quintessential Long Beach home. The neighborhood is great: street parking a non-issue, centrally located, quiet and safe. The beach with a pedestrian/bike path is 3 blocks away, Belmont Shore restaurants and shops a 10-15 minute walk, and freeway (405/605 or 710) access a 5-10 minute drive.

A little about me: queer-identifying male who works full-time Monday through Friday (but my job often requires that I take work home). I don't smoke, am very respectful/clean and I spend most weekends in LA with my partner. i have 2 friendly, cuddly indoor cats. Some of my hobbies include working out, traveling, wine tasting, hiking and cooking at home.

Who I am looking for: another full-time professional/student with steady income, who cleans up after themselves and is punctual with rent/utilities. Someone who doesn't do drugs, smoke, or bring the party home after a night out.

Rent is $1100 with $1100 deposit
Utilities average around $80 (cable in living room, wifi internet, electricity, and gas)
Laundry room with coin-operated machines in rear of building
