Sunny furnished short-term room rental
Please read the ad, it will answer many pertinent questions. Thanks!
Looking for someone reliable, conscientious, trustworthy and self-aware who communicates well, takes responsibility for their actions, is respectful of people and their property, is considerate and understands spatial equality when living in a household of many. Oh, and neat, tidy and organized too!
If interested, please send me a message telling me a bit about yourself; what you do; why you're looking for a short term sublet; when you're looking to move in/move out; and your favorite book or latest binge. Also, if you'd like to send social media links you can, but not necessary.

Rent: $600 per month for single occupancy ($800 for double)
Includes: Utilities (for reasonable use), WiFi, access to kitchen, laundry and common areas
Available: April 15- June 30 (somewhat flexible)
Other: No smoking and no guest. Dogs considered, but not cats (sorry, allergies).
Move-in cost is $600 for the 1st month’s rent. No deposit required, since I live in the house and this is short-term. Possible background and credit check.
Pre-screening survey required (it's important in a house with many people that our new housemate is a good fit. And with Covid still an issue, we don't want to invite a bunch of people into our home.) Will be required to sign a short-term room rental agreement and household Covid guidelines agreement. Will be expected to read, understand and abide by the household information and etiquette guide. (This is mostly common sense information and to explain to you the amenities and features in the house.)
IMPORTANT: Since the pandemic is still an issue, I will initially be showing the room via video chat. If you seem like a good fit for the household we can then schedule an in-person viewing. Also, you must take a Covid test before and after you move in and wear a mask in the house until both tests come back negative.

I have a furnished bedroom available in my 4 bed, 2 bath house to rent from April 15th to June 30th (dates are a bit flexible, just ask). The room is currently being painted as can be seen in the pictures, but will have a twin (or full) bed, desk, two dressers, and a window A/C (no closet). The house has 2 shared bathrooms, a living room, a den, a fully-equipped kitchen, a washer/dryer, ceiling fans and window A/C's. The house also has a yard, and patio with BBQ. Street parking is readily available and in-yard parking can sometimes be accommodated.
In addition to two adorable and well-trained dogs, there are 3 female identifying and 1 male identifying humans in the household. We are a professional, international and LGBTQ+ friendly bunch of 30's-40's housemates. We enjoy occasional household BBQ's, movie/TV nights and Covid-safe outings. Two of us work outside the house (and are vaccinated) and two work from home.
The neighborhood is very walk-able with 4 grocery stores, 2 drug stores, several fast food/restaurants, Starbucks, a park, the post office and several bus lines all within a 7-15 minute walk. The Metrolink is a 15-20 minute walk from the house (and will get you to DTLA/Union Station in 3 stops). Target, Walmart, the West Covina Mall and the original In N Out Burger can all be reached with a 7-12 minute drive. The house is approximately 12 miles from Pasadena, 17 miles to DTLA, 23 miles to Hollywood or Disneyland and 35 miles to Santa Monica. Near the 605, 10 and 210 freeways.
