Looking to rent out the master suite in my house in Broadmoor. It's a 16 foot by 12 foot first-floor master bedroom with a large closet (with two doors).It comes with an attached private bathroom, 9 foot by 7 foot with a large shower, toilet, two sinks, and its own large closet. Two large dressers are included, one of which can be a TV stand: these can be removed if you don't want them. A bed can be provided. $1300 a month, utilities (electric, gas, trash, internet) included.

The house is in a great walkable/bikeable neighborhood in Broadmoor, just minutes from Broadmoor Fine Arts and Wellness Trail and Rosa F. Keller Library, It's a 15-minute walk to Ochsner Baptist Medical Center and all the restaurants (and Rouse's grocery store) on Freret St, and a 25-minute walk to the Tulane or Loyola campus. It's very close to both the Claiborne and Napoleon/Broad bus routes.

The house will be shared with the homeowner (this poster) and his girlfriend. We're both in our 30s, and have the upstairs rooms. There's a fully-shared first floor beyond your private bedroom and bathroom, with shared spaces including a large kitchen with modern gas stove and oven, a microwave, a large fridge and freezer, an air fryer, a dishwasher, bar stools, and more and a large living and dining room with a 60'' TV, a couch, a dining room table and more. There's also a downstairs half-bath, a laundry room with a modern washer and dryer, and a backyard with outdoor furniture and a hot tub (a nice relaxing cold tub in summer). All of this is available for your use. The house has central air conditioning and heat, with separate upstairs and downstairs thermostats.

Pets are welcome with deposit and interview (to make sure they'll be okay with our pets: we have an indoor cat and a mostly-outdoor tortoise).

Looking for a one-year lease (with potential month-to-month continuation after that), but open to other possibilities. Reach out with any questions!
