1 Bedroom Available in Beautiful Craftsman House

Looking for someone to sublease or take over existing lease until January 31st, 2021, then ideally stay on afterwards. Room can be available with one week's notice. I?m moving in with my partner, so that?s why the room is open.

*The House*
It?s a beautiful house located a few blocks behind Dick's on 45th in Wallingford. The house is a 4 bedroom, 2 full bathroom, two-level Craftsman. The neighborhood?s quiet, but close to a lot of restaurants and bus lines.

The kitchen area includes a 6 burner gas stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, grill and an outdoor freezer. An additional highlight of the kitchen is the French doors that open-up to a back deck overlooking the backyard. The downstairs bathroom includes a brand new washer and an older-but-still-fine drier. Wi-fi, but no TV.

The house has on street parking, with plenty of space for bikes inside. The bus stops for the 26, 30, 31 and 44 are a couple blocks away. There are also I-5 buses (like the 512) and the U-District within walking distance as well.

Utilities average about $60/month (water and sewer are included in the rent). No pets, unfortunately.

*Room*
As for the room, it?s located on the second floor. It?s a bit on the small side, but I?ve been able to fit a dresser, desk, and a queen-sized bed into it without a problem. There?s also a small closet and whoever gets this room is also entitled to some extra storage space under the stairs to compensate.

It gets a ton of light and air thanks to some large windows and a skylight. The windows look out over the backyard and you can see Rainier when it?s out. Really nice for someone who travels light and likes to fall asleep to the sound of wind and wake up to natural sunlight.

There is currently a queen-sized bed, desk, and dresser in the room that can be left behind for the next tenant if so desired (we can chat). If not, they'll be removed.

*Housemates*
The house is home to three male professionals in their 20s to 40s. The house has a great layout for hosting, generally hanging out, and unwinding from the day. The house is looking for someone that?s friendly, a good communicator, respectful, and clean.

As for checking it out if you?re interested, because of COVID, the first step will actually probably be a Zoom or Skype call. This way you can chat with the current housemates and get a virtual tour.
