Large basement room opening up in my house as of October 1st. It has private door access to a decent-sized backyard. There is also an area of the basement, just next to the room, that could be used as a lounge/seating area, in addition to storage in the basement. The floor is concrete, so you would want to add some rugs. The house is old, but has lots of space, and is in a great location in Wallingford, equidistant between I-5 and 99. The 62 bus route goes directly by the house, and it's 5 blocks away from the 44 route; you could walk to a D-line stop, too. Rent is $600/mo, plus utilities. You'd be sharing a bathroom with one other person; there are two bathrooms in the house, one on the ground level, and one upstairs. Shared kitchen/living rooms. Cat-friendly home (we have 3; they have their own territories upstairs). You'd have 3 very chill roommates; we're all mid/late 30s or older (aging former musicians), and quiet. Seeking someone equally tame, who is responsible, cleans up after themselves, and pays rent/bills on time.
