Seeking like-minded community oriented roommate

We are: Female professional health care practitioner (naturopathic physician) and a 9 year old (professional-rubix-cuber, bubble-gum-chewer, trampoline-jumper, here-1/2-time, respectful, sassy-but-low-key-cookie) looking for a like-minded roommate.

Beautiful stand alone house in Broadview neighborhood. This is a pretty well furnished house but I'm interested in making space for you! Creating a new arrangement of furniture could be part of that!

You have a few options here. You can rent out the bedroom on the main floor, you can rent out the basement carpeted rec room, or you can rent both.

This is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house with a full living room, dining room, and basement rec room.
Since the floors are radiant heat the house stays very warm and the basement is cozy and warm in the winters.

I love gardening and am growing flowers and veggies. I'm looking for someone who also likes to garden and is willing to help with the seasonal weeding and mowing of the yard.

There's a 2 car garage inside a big fenced in yard. The backyard has 2 apple trees and 2 plum trees, which I harvest and preserve every year. We also have a trampoline and a ping pong table :) There's a very large deck that has a patio couch, chairs, flower pots and a fire pit.

The Interurban trail is 2 blocks away, and runs alongside the big cemetery, which you can also walk through (it's gorgeous, and is the unofficial off-leash dog park).

I'm looking for someone who is interested in making community with me. I like this house, it's got good vibes, and I like living with like-minded people who are interested in sharing in community, whether that's cooking meals together, or taking turns watering the garden, sharing in the little moments of life, or helping each other out in supportive ways. I value honesty, integrity, good communication focused on finding the mutual benefit for all, and good boundaries so we can happily co-habitate!

I would be down with cooking community meals and hanging out on the deck around the fire pit, or grabbing some things for you from the grocery store, sharing in the hilarities of our days, but also respect for our mutual needs for privacy and space, down time.

I would consider a dog if you have one. We are planning on adopting a dog in early June, so looking for a dog that's dog friendly, kid friendly, and not aggressive.

No smokers, no partiers please!
