1 Bedroom Available in bright & spacious duplex

I'm looking for someone to move into the second bedroom of my 2 bedroom duplex apartment in The Heights neighborhood of Jersey City. Move-in date 10/15-11/1/20 and minimum stay until the end of the lease, 6/31/21. Security deposit $1,500 and rent is $1,000 per month. Water & trash included. Basic cable (...streaming channels all day), internet & electricity will be split in 1/2.

The Apartment: Bright and spacious, 10 ft ceilings, windows galore, remodeled last year with stainless steel appliances. Kitchen windows look out over a park & gets the sunset. The apartment is furnished with the exception of the second bedroom. (To be clear you need to bring your own bedroom furniture.) Shared full bath upstairs, shared half bath downstairs, central AC/heat. Big comfy couch, lots of plants :)

The Room: Large bedroom that has space for a full to queen size bed, desk & tall dresser. It has 1 window and is well-lit. 2 closets, 1 small/normal size with a bar for clothes and storage above and 1 good size closet with large/deep built in shelves.

The Building: Right at the beginning of a main commerce street in JC Heights. NJ transit busses (that will take you into Manhattan or the Hoboken/JSQ PATH stations) stop directly outside the building as well as several other places within a couple blocks. There is non-sketchy laundry in the building where you pay over an app (fuck quarters!) . 3 floor walk up from the main entrance. The building is very safe and 1 block from Stop & Shop and a liquor store, and close to places like UPS/USPS, pharmacies etc that might otherwise be inconvenient to get to without a car. 10 min uber to downtown JC and 6-10 mins into Hoboken.

Parking: Street parking, but surprisingly able to consistently find spots right outside the building JC Parking pass is around $45.

You: You're a female working professional between 25-35 and a good human being. You are friendly, respectful of space and easy to get along with. You're responsible with bills and clean up after yourself. Just as important, you like dogs.. no, you LOVE dogs- and wouldn't mind living with a 45 lb. Australian Shepard who will undoubtedly want to be your best friend.

The dog: Other than he's the freaking best, he's loving, sweet, smart and playful...and he most definitely wants to be where the people are. He wants your affection and is the best quarantine companion. Won't chew your shit. V good boy.

Me: I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist, currently working remotely. I'm friendly, easy-going & would prefer to really get along with my roommate! I like to cook, garden indoors, explore places to eat and grab a drink, explore outside, see live music/music festivals, read and watch TV on the streaming channels.
