Our Journal Square House is located in the historic Journal Square area of Jersey City, New Jersey. The Journal Square House is made up of three brick row houses, all of which share a common backyard, and is a short walk from public transportation and multiple historic sites of interest.
The Journal Square House consists of six apartments spread across three houses, with two floors each. With easy access to public transportation, it’s the perfect base from which to commute to Lower and Midtown Manhattan. Members enjoy spacious common areas with plenty of entertainment options, as well as a large backyard with plenty of room to lounge or host a barbecue.
This coliving house is located in the revitalized Journal Square neighborhood, filled with historic buildings, newer high rises and plenty of dining options. It’s only a short commute into New York City on public transportation and is an easy commute to downtown Jersey City and Hoboken.
The house is a 10-minute walk from the Journal Square Transportation Center Path Plaza, where you can catch the Journal Square-33rd Street train into Midtown Manhattan, or the Newark-World Trade Center train into Lower Manhattan. Multiple bus lines also serve the neighborhood.
You can be in the Financial District in less than 30 minutes and to Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza or Downtown Brooklyn in 50 minutes.

There are six apartments in the Journal Square House, each of which have five to six bedrooms. Most of the bedrooms at the Journal Square House are private, although there are limited shared-room options available.
Amenities: memory-foam mattresses, memory-foam pillows, extension cords to your bedside, shelving, hooks, bed linens, towels and closets/organizational tools.
Services: Bed linens and towels will be available for you when you arrive.
THE KITCHENS/DINING ROOM
The kitchen in each apartment features updated appliances, with plenty of counter space for cooking on your own or with a group. Each kitchen includes a dining table that can be used for eating, socializing or co-working, and includes a breakfast bar. The kitchen is the gathering place for potluck dinners, solo meals and chats in the evening over a glass of wine.
Amenities include a gas stove, stainless-steel fridge, microwave, large sinks, a coffee maker, plenty of cabinets, cookware, tableware, cutting boards and anything else you would need in a kitchen.
Each unit in the Journal Square House includes two full bathrooms, so you’ll never have to wait.
Also included: toilet paper small garbage bags, which will never run out! We also provide hair dryers, so there's no need to bring your own.
The Journal Square House includes in-unit washers and dryers for your convenience.
The Journal Square House features a large backyard that spans the width and is accessible from all three houses. With ample seating and multiple grills, its the perfect spot in which to get to know your housemates or have get-togethers while it’s warm out.
