Large South Beach room for sublet/lease take-over

Awesome spacious room/private bathroom available in 2-person condo in South Beach, right next to Lincoln Rd. (less than a minute walking) and less than 10 minutes walking to South Beach. Includes washer + dryer in unit, 2 parking spots, dishwasher, smart thermostat (central A/C). Water is included. I'm filling the room for my roommate who recently moved out of state.

The room itself currently still has a queen size bed frame in it; you will need to furnish your own mattress. The bed frame is only 6 months old, so it can stay if you'd like to keep it or can be removed if you prefer. You can use the size of the frame as a reference for scale while checking out the photos -- plenty of room!

Additionally, there is a ton of storage here; the room has a very large closet space and the kitchen has more storage than I could ever need. I also have some extra space in my closet if ever needed.

The place originally came unfurnished, but at this point I've furnished it with an awesome couch and a 65" TV w/ soundbar in the living room. I usually keep my bike in the living room as well (as you'll see in the photos.) My roommate used to keep her electric scooter in the other corner.

Electric in the hottest months has been roughly ~$200 (so $100 each) but of course it'll be lower in other months. Internet is roughly $25-$30 a person.

AVAILABILITY:

The sublet is available immediately, but I am able to accommodate move in dates starting in September or October. The room must be filled by November, however.

The lease runs through the beginning of February, with the option for us to renew for another 12 months. You will need to go through an application process w/ the HOA in order to assume my roommate's lease.

I fully plan on renewing the lease, so although this is a technically a sublet, I'm ideally looking for a long-term roommate. At minimum, though, you would need to stay through the remainder of the current lease, which ends after the first week of February.

ABOUT ME:

I'm a 30 y/o software engineer who moved down to Miami Beach a little less than a year ago for work. I'm a pretty easy going and respectful roommate. Definitely like to have fun and go out, but also often enjoy chilling at home or with friends. I enjoy staying active by riding my bike and playing sports. I lived in Asia for the majority of my twenties and still love to travel regularly.

Until very recently, I was working in the office daily, but currently I am working from home.

I'm open to a male or female roommate. I was living with a female roommate until recently -- her job just relocated her back to NYC. Primarily looking for someone in their 20s/30s who is easy to get along/live with, respectful, responsible, and hopefully fun.
