Roommate Wanted (Lease Terms Negotiable)

I’m renting out a private bedroom (11’ x 12’) with a walk-in closet and private bathroom in my townhouse. This space is ideal for someone who values a quiet, comfortable living environment. The bedroom is part of a shared living space, including the living room and dining area.

The townhouse is located in a quiet, well-maintained complex with plenty of parking, a pool, and a patio. The washer and dryer are onsite for convenience. Utilities are not included in the rent—tenant is responsible for electricity, but water is not a charge for us. Wi-Fi is available.

Important Details:

Rent: $800/month (price is negotiable depending on your situation and the person)

No pets allowed

No smoking in the house

The townhouse is currently under renovations, which I am doing myself. Most work will take place on weekends or over single days, and I will ensure it doesn’t interfere with your living space. I’ll work with your schedule to make sure the renovations are as non-disruptive as possible.

I’m planning on potentially selling my home in the next 6 months to a year, so I’m looking for someone who is flexible. I will provide 1–2 months' notice if I list the property or need to make any changes. There is also a possibility that you could move with me to the next place if it’s the right fit.

I’m 23 years old and would prefer a roommate around my age, but I’m open to anyone who is responsible and easy-going.

I’m also in the process of starting a home-based bakery, so there may be occasional use of the kitchen or fridge space. This shouldn’t interfere with your living space, but I just wanted to be transparent about it.
