The rent is $1100 for just the room, also expecting a 3%-5% rent increase per year in November (Due to COVID rent increase is on hold for now). The internet is not included and cost $68; all other utilities are included. A maid will also visit every other month to the help keep the apartment refreshed and dust free but she charges $80, she is very nice. Ideally we split the cost of both of these utilities.

In my gentle opinion, this is about as nice as apartments get for this price in Columbia Heights. The unit has hardwood floors, spacious and furnished living room. A well furnished balcony and outdoor movie theater are accessible from the livingroom area! The unit sports a well-furnished kitchen and the bathroom is very attractive with its custom moldings.

There are lots of big windows so beautiful natural light can flow throughout the apartment. You'll enjoy the great views of 13th street and downtown. The hallway, bathroom, living room and balcony are currently furnished (except for the one available bedroom). Also all the light fixtures are outfitted with Phillips Hue lights and the entire apartment is integrated with Amazon Alexa.

The building is medium to small size animal friendly and comes with a gated dog park, rooftop deck, ground level outdoor pavilion, bicycle room, fitness room, onsite building management and maintenance team, and package mail aggregation system.

Castle Manor Apartment is located between Euclid Street and Clifton Street, blocks from U Street. One mile from the Best Buy, Target, and Giant Grocery, Yes Market, Trader Joes. You will be walking distance from The U Street restaurants and bars, and the Columbia Heights and U Street Metro stops. This is surprisingly one of the most conveniently located apartments in the Columbia Heights neighborhood.
