Beautiful 2 Bedroom Seeks Roommate Oct. 1!

ABOUT ME:
I am currently looking for a roommate for Oct. 1, 2021. I’m a 39 year old straight Black man with a 15 pound dog. I work full time, as well. Though I’m sociable, I am reserved and don’t have lots of guests or traffic. I try to maintain a peaceful home as much as possible. Fully vaccinated as well.

ABOUT YOU:
I’m open to age. Male or Female is not important either (my last roommate was a woman and is now my dearest friend). Ideally, you would be nice, reasonable and mature. I’m a very direct person, open to conversation and problem solving. Ideally, you would be, also. You would be smart, tolerant of other cultures, races, genders, etc. You should be dog friendly too. My ideal roommate would also be more social than me, but not have very much guest traffic. Lastly, honesty is mandatory.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT:
The apartment is 1 of 8 condo units in the building. I DO NOT own the condo unit. I have lived here for several years, and the owner is great! The unit itself is a garden unit. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, bathtub w/ jets, stainless steel dishwasher and fridge, trash disposal, hardwood floors, in-unit laundry, outdoor patio space, fireplace and central heat/ac. The building is pretty quiet and well maintained. The neighbors are respectful working people and families.
Conveniently located, the building is within a 2 minute walk of the CTA No. 6, 15, 67 and 28 bus lines, the Jackson Park Golf Course, and is a 5 minute drive from Hyde Park. Street parking is available, though it can be more difficult to find later at night. Rent is $800 per month and includes utilities.
