We are looking for a fun/outgoing young professional (preferably mid 20s/early 30s and from abroad) to move in and share this charming 3 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment in Lakeview. All eight of my previous flat mates have been from abroad, and I love hosting and learning about different cultures! So far I have had flat mates from Spain, Brazil, France, U. K., Austria and Italy, Ireland and Australia! We are looking for open minded, like minded individuals who are keen to have flat mates they regard as friends rather than mute, antisocial stowaways!

This apartment is in a prime location, right on the corner of Addison and Halsted: only a 4 minute walk to the Addison Red Line stop, close to bus stops, and about a 20 minute drive from I90 for any drivers needing to commute! This apartment gives you the best of both worlds: a quiet, tree-lined, residential street, yet just steps to all the bars and restaurants that Lakeview has to offer. This place is truly a gem, and rent is only $650 a month, which is a total steal for this part of town and being right by the LAKE. Your room is big, and comes furnished with a full sized bed, dresser and some other shelves. We are both very tidy and love making our apartment a clean and enjoyable space to hang out!

Hi! My name is Hailey and I am a 29 years old. I work in the city for a non-profit. I enjoy running/biking/walking by the lake/around the city, crafting, traveling, cooking, and exploring Chicago while trying new foods/bars. I am very outgoing and love to meet new people (if you couldn't tell). I am hoping the girl/guy who moves in will be friendly and enjoy mixing friend groups/meeting new people while in Chicago. There's also SO much to explore, so hoping you like to get out and see the city as well!! This is a friendly living space! I've really enjoyed the close friendships (some have become best friends now living all around the world) I've made with all my past roommates, and have visited 6 of them in Europe over the last couple of years! This is great space for someone coming to the U. S. for a while.

Hi guys, Barney here. I'm 27 and work downtown at an architecture firm. I moved here from the UK in Nov 2018 on an 18-month J1 visa. But this isn't my first time in this brilliant apartment -- I actually lived here with Hailey from July to Dec 2017 while I did a research project. I had to go back to Cambridge for the first half of 2018 to write my Master's thesis, but as soon as I graduated (and after taking Hailey to the UK, Greece and Belgium last summer to meet up with other old flat mates) I looked for a job back here as quickly as possible. I've met most of our previous housemates in Europe, who are all friendly, fun, and unique people. We are looking for somebody who likes to chill out together on weeknights in the living room, except perhaps for a trivia night or a gym session (Planet Fitness is just down the street), with a similar 9-5 schedule to us. Then when the weekend comes, it's time to hit the bars etc in, and go to the beach in the summer, or run by the lake. Perhaps you will have an unusual passion or hobby that you will introduce us to... I guess our ideal candidate would be a 3-6 month intern who would like to make new friends and come explore the city. We'll take care of you and make sure you have the best experience of Chicago.
