AfricanAmerican Female 40+ seeks Peaceful Roommate

I am a black female 40+ seeking a considerate, intelligent, kind and tidy roommate to share a peaceful home in the San Pablo, Pinole, Hercules area. I am a vegetarian, that occasionally eats fish. I am fine with non-vegetarians cooking meals, however, I have an allergy to shellfish so preparation or cooking of shellfish within the home is not possible. Also, no pets or smoking allowed in the home or on the premises.

I have a couple of options regarding the room rental. My goal is to remain as safe as possible during the uncertain duration of the Pandemic. Therefore, I would like to keep the home confined by living with one other person, which would be you. To make this situation workable, there is a generous master bedroom with ample closet space, a private bath and a distant but lovely view of the San Pablo Bay.

The unfurnished master bedroom would rent for $1400 + $300 flat for utilities which would include high-speed Internet Wi-Fi, water, gas, electricity and trash. It would also come with a garage space for parking.

I currently have use of two smaller bedrooms, one in which is my private office. The other option would be to rent out both smaller bedrooms and I would retain the master bedroom space.

In this event, each of the two unfurnished bedrooms will rent for either $1150 plus $200 for utilities or $1250 plus $200 for utilities, depending on occupancy of the garage parking space. The occupants of the two bedrooms would share a bathroom. There would be three of us sharing the home in this arrangement.

About me: I am a conscious black woman, who works in sales, but I am also a poet and writer. While I am a private person, I do like a healthy social home environment and prefer not to live with someone anti-social or who will feel like a stranger within the home. I expect that the roommate/s will be careful and conscious of the Pandemic taking the necessary precautions. This person would not plan on having frequent or overnight guests, though some special occasions could be happily accommodated. There is occasional use of cleaning supplies, scented soaps and candles that lightly scent the home at times, so this would not be the right home for those sensitive to fragrances.

It is not my first preference, but I may consider a couple if the right fit, to occupy the master bedroom. If that should be possible, the rent would be $1800 + $400 for utilities and will include one garage parking space.

Move in is First Month + Last Month + $600 Deposit.

Seeking a one-year sub-lease contract. But will consider a four or six-month lease as a trial period. All tenants are subject to a credit and background check. Hoping the right roommate/s is out there to help make this uncertain time more harmonious.
