Large room available June 1 in sunny home a half mile from Sloan’s Lake (shared with only one person) - $850/month + utilities

I’m looking for a responsible and respectful female roommate to share my beautiful, sunny home. It’s a three-bedroom, one-bathroom house. You’ll have the largest room, and we’ll share the bathroom.

The specs:
• The available room: 17 feet by 9.5 feet with a large closet
• Shared spaces: kitchen, living room, dining room, laundry room, bathroom, and backyard
• The backyard: fully fenced with a patio, hammock, raised garden beds, and benches
• Rent: $850/month plus half of utilities
• Lease length: month-to-month
• Move-in: first month of rent plus deposit required at move-in
• Pets: I have an adorable 9 lb. 5-year-old miniature dachshund that is sweet, cuddly, and mellow. I would consider a roommate with a calmer (preferably smaller) dog but no other pets.
• Washer/dryer/dishwasher/microwave available
• Home is fully furnished, but the bedroom is unfurnished
• House is clean and tidy
• No smoking in home (cigarettes or marijuana), no frequent heavy drinking, or hardcore drug use

• Blocks away from Sloan’s Lake, Edgewater Public Market, US Thai, Joyride Brewery, Edgewater Beer Garden, Lot 46 Music Bar, Target, King Soopers, Ace Hardware, Edgewater Public Library

• Safe and friendly neighborhood
• 10-15 minutes from downtown

About me: I’m a 37-year-old female working in mental health research. I live a fun, social, active, healthy, outdoorsy lifestyle (hiking, biking, backpacking, dancing, traveling, live music, story slams, comedy shows). I have an incredible community of close friends in town, and I like to have them over about once a month. I would describe them all as remarkably warm, funny, engaging, and compassionate and hoping to find the same in a housemate. My current beloved housemate is buying a house a block away, and I’m hoping to keep the lovely vibes going of my current situation and continue to have a house filled with laughter, joy, and compassion.
