Great Shared House - 2 Beds/1Bath

I’m looking for a roommate to rent two rooms and one bathroom in my four bedroom home. First and most importantly, you must like pets. If you don’t, then there no reason to keep reading.

I have two dogs and two cats. I have a 5 yr old Border Collie/Husky/Heeler mix. Her name is Stevie. She is seriously the calmest and chill dog out there. My other dog is 2yr old Blue Heller named Forrest. What can I say. He is still a young dog. He is adorable and smart and LOVES to play ball. Cat wise, I have two female cats. One is a calico and her name is Momma cat. I asked my ex if I could have her (she was her cat). She was the best thing that came out of my last relationship (ha) She is older. Basically, sleeps on the couch 23 hours a day. The other hour she uses to eat, stretch, clean herself, and pee/poop. She is independent. She tolerates the dogs and the other cat. They know not to bother her or else she’ll show them to keep their space. My other cat is 1yr old. Her name is Tristan. She is light black kitty. She is like a dog. Complete opposite of my Momma cat. That’s why I adopted her. She is pretty chill like Stevie too. All of them, except Momma cat, follow me wherever I go so they won’t be in your way that much. I’ll accept one more dog or cat. They must be well behaved, like other dogs/cats, and are cute. Haha

The rooms are set up where there are two rooms on either side of the house so we will have our own privacy. We will share the living room and kitchen (which separates the bedrooms) I have a decent size back yard and front yard. Your main bedroom can be furnished of not. The second bedroom will be whatever you want it to be. I have everything kitchen wise and living room. I’d like someone who is respectful and clean and does not treat another’s property like trash. You can be extrovert or introvert. I don’t care. Just don’t be an asshole – respectul people only. Pay rent on time and clean up after yourself. I don’t care if you’re a boy or girl. We are all human. You can be a college student or an older traveling professional. If you are a rager and think you’ll be having one here, you are wrong. Don’t apply. But chill BBQ’s or chill friends over are welcome. I do the same. We don’t have to be friends, but if we mesh well, more power to it.

I'm 42 year old woman. I believe age is just a number. I was born and raised here in the Springs. I joined the Air Force right after high school and now I’m a medically retired Air Force disabled veteran. No, I’m not in wheelchair or anything like that. I have problems with my throat and esophagus. I don’t work. But I’m not home all the time. I have provider appointments, volunteer, take my dogs to the dog park…just try to be as busy and distracted so I don’t hurt so much. It’s been tough on this recovery road I’ve been on. I had four strokes. That’s what happened to me. Music and nature are my happy places. I’ve been to many concerts and love to hike, camp, backpack, fish, play sports…

Also, I’m gay. Just so you know now. That was just a little introduction.

Now to the price. So, we know that rents are expensive, however, with my price you'll get what you're paying for. $1,300/per month and $500 down deposit. That’s it. Everything else is included. Oh, and I have internet but no cable but of course you can stream.

Let me tell you about the house and area.

The house is:

- A four bedroom / 2 bath house
- I have a 12x12 shed. I can make room for a little bit of your stuff.
- A nice decent size back yard
- It was a flipped house when I bought it.
- I recently had a new roof put on, re-sided, new windows, and a new fence in the
front yard.
- Good neighborhood
- Great location – right off the interstate.
- About 7 minute drive to Downtown
- 10 minutes to the Westside
- 5 minutes to the Broadmoor
- 15 minutes to the mountains
- In the Stratmoor Meadows neighborhood

Right across the street. Like 2 mins away is a Target, Tinseltown, World Arena, Starbucks, Old World Bagel, Chilis, Arby’s, Subway, Baskin Robbins, iTop It yogurt…

I’m close to:
- Quail Lake, Seven Falls, Cheyenne Mountain, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cheyenne Mountain State Park, Broadmoor, Seven Falls, Penrose Event Center, Fort Carson, and Peterson Air Force Base…

I’m like 3-5 mins away from Southgate:
Where there is a Home Depot, PetsMart, Michaels, Ross, On the Border, Old Navy, Red Robin, 24 Hour Fitness, Big R, Magnum Shooting place…
