Cozy room near downtown Colorado Springs

My name is Lauren and I live in a beautiful historic home in the Patty Jewett neighborhood near downtown Colorado Springs. I am looking for two roommates who are willing to live in the two upstairs bedrooms of this amazing house. The location is perfect as it is walking distance to a park, trail, and coffee shop. Along the walk you will see other unique historic homes behind the towering elm trees that shade the sidewalks. If you’re thinking about doing a night out, it’s cheap and easy to take a lime scooter to downtown and back. That way you also won’t have to pay for parking. The outside of the house has a beautiful aspen tree and garden. There is a car port as well as plenty of street parking. Coming into the house, the master bedroom, where me and my boyfriend stay, is to the right, the living area is to the right, and the staircase to the upstairs bedrooms is right in front of you. The living room is very cozy with two couches with lots of pillows and blankets. The TV is connected to an Xbox X, PlayStation 5, and Wii-U. Along with video games, there are also board games and puzzles that can be played as well. To left of the living room is the studio. This is where the dining table is as well as two desks. One of the desks can be used and has a monitor that can hook up to a laptop and a printer. There are tons of books and art supplies that can be used in the studio as well as exercise equipment. The room is filled with plants which makes the space feel very relaxed and comfortable. If you go through the living room you will get to the kitchen. The kitchen has many amenities such as an oven, stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, air fryer, toaster, blender, rice cooker, coffee maker, and slow cooker. Plates, bowls, eating utensils, and other cooking and eating items are also available. There is a walk-in pantry behind the bar that has plenty of space for food, jackets, shoes, and cleaning supplies. From the kitchen, you can go into the backyard which has a garden, ping pong table, fire pit, and grill. This space is perfect for having guests over and hosting events. Going upstairs you have the two bedrooms, one to the left and one to the right, and the shared bathroom straight ahead. Both rooms are furnished and have decently sized closets. Both rooms have TVs and storage. They are connect to a small Jack-and-Jill room that has a cozy vibe with its large papasan chair and table which can be used for remote work. The shared bathroom has a claw foot tub with a shower hook-up. The laundry is also conveniently in the bathroom. Lastly, there is a basement with plenty of storage for any camping gear, tools, or other storage items. Me and my boyfriend are very easygoing and don’t mind guests. We keep all common areas clean and organized and expect our roommates to do the same. However, we understand that life is crazy and you may not get to your dishes before bed or whatever the case is when it comes to cleaning. We are open to roommates that want to socialize, be left alone, or anything in between. Our main stipulation is that our roommate must be communicative and willing to talk about problems respectfully and calmly. We hope you decide to room with us!
