Room for Rent in Downtown Mountain View

Hello everyone!

I have a (unfurnished) room in a very nice apartment complex near downtown Mountain View for rent for the right person.

The room is a 10X12 private bedroom in a 916 square foot apartment with two bathrooms, interior washer and dryer and a fully set up kitchen and shared spaces. There is one dedicated parking space that would be the new roommate's to use as I don't own a car. The complex is generally quiet with quiet hours supposed to be outside of 8-10 and even during the days it's rarely that loud. Complex also has a pool, reservable barbeque sites, a small weight/workout room and bike lockers available to rent. The complex also is entirely smoke free and it is part of the lease so there is no smoking/vaping on the premises.

About me-I am an early middle aged gay man who enjoys board games, video games, reading way too much, a nice wine or bourbon, cooking and baking. I host, generally, a small dinner thing once a week that the new roommate would be welcome to join and about a once a month board game party but other than that it's fairly quiet around here and I keep to myself in my room a great deal. I generally work from home four days a week though may shift a bit in the near future.

I would ideally like a LGBTQ+ male roommate but I'm definitely willing to be flexible if we click! I've attached pictures although please note the bed will be removed prior to your move in, the previous roommate asked me to hold onto it for a bit after they moved out but I'll be getting rid of it shortly.

Rent is $1500 a month plus utilities. It's actually below market rate for this complex, they lowered it during the pandemic and Mountain View's rent control has meant it hasn't been creeping up very quickly so it's a great deal! A credit check will be required by the complex as well as proof of 10k renter's insurance per occupant.
