1 bedroom available in a 3 BR/2.5 BA 2 story townhome. It is located in a Belmont neighborhood with easy access to 101, 280, and 92. Buses, shopping and grocery stores are only blocks away.
The rent is $1150 a month plus utilities.
Utilities are PG&E, water, garbage, and internet and average $300-$360 a month divided by everyone. There will also be a $1000 security deposit. Rent is due the first of the month.
The bedroom is on the top floor and about 11 x 11, with a closet (about 6 x 2.5). It has a window with a view of the backyard. You will share a full bathroom with one other person. It has a bathtub, shower, 1 sink, and storage under the sink as well as a small standing cabinet next to the sink.
The rest of the house, shared places and parking:
There's hardwood floors downstairs and carpet upstairs.
You will have access to the entire downstairs (half bath, laundry, hall closet, pantry, living room, kitchen, etc.). Full use of kitchen, utensils, dishes, pots, pans, dishwasher, etc. Small yards in front and back.
There's driveway and street parking available.
There is also a pool that our town home community has access to during certain times of the year.
Who are we? I work at an elementary school in Menlo Park in administration. My school is in person, so you will mainly see me at nights and on weekends. Also, I have a Husky/Rottweiler mix. She is friendly, energetic, and gets along well with people.
The other roommate works a hybrid schedule; sometimes she works from home and sometimes she’s at the office.
We’re looking for a tidy female roommate who is fun, responsible, considerate, and easy to get along with. Someone who feels comfortable making a suggestion about how we keep our living space as this will be our shared space.
