The Room:
This sweet double room measures 20’ X 16.5’. and is 330 square feet. Yes, really. It originally was TWO bedrooms, but the wall was removed, and you have a BONUS ROOM! Double the closets and double organizers. The room is set on its own “peninsula,” so there are no shared walls.

The last renter was here 8 years, then the room was renovated with fresh paint, new ceiling fan with lights, fresh drapes, updated outlets and a bright, shiny coat of Varathane on the oak floor. Lots of natural light! There are six windows; four on the west-facing wall, and one each on the north and south-facing walls so you can catch a breeze from three directions. There’s a sunset view to the south-west, and a view of Saddleback Mountain to the north-east.

The Bathroom:
The double split-bath is very large. There are two sinks and wall-to-wall mirrors behind the first door. The toilet and shower are behind the second door, so the entire bathroom lends itself to use by two people, and is shared with one other renter. I just installed new faucets, sink, shower head and toilet seat. Swanky. There’s even a toilet paper roll holder with a shelf for your cell phone because we are so very hip.

The Home:
The home is 3,300 square feet, and is set on a cul-de-sac at the top of a hill in Wilderness Glen, Mission Viejo. This Southwest beauty is tiled with Mexican pavers throughout the downstairs, and Southwest colors compliment the desert décor. The back gate into Wilderness Glen leads to walking and hiking trails just a few yards away. Swing chairs hung in the old oak tree, and a glass of wine is a real attitude adjustment. The fully outfitted, gourmet kitchen has hosted tv chef, Martin Yan. My garden has been on a charity garden tour for two years. Lah-de-dah.

The Vibe
Chill. People tend to stay for a long time. The person who rented the longest was here for 18 years. It’s quiet, peaceful, and respectful, and you would be of the same temperament. No drama tolerated. Please be kind, thoughtful, and laid back.

Two dogs are kept downstairs behind a gate. Very loving and chill creatures. Actually, just plain lazy.

Responsibilities? Just your room and bathroom. I clean all common areas. All utilities and WiFi included. Membership to Lake Mission Viejo included. Inside laundry. I'll need the first month's rent, pay stubs and security deposit, and you're in.

No smoking.
No illegal anything.
No "sleep-overs”
No waterbeds, fish tanks, or kegs.
No dogs (I have plenty)
No cats (I'm allergic)
No iguanas (too scaly)
No drama (That's why the ex is gone)
