LOVELY HOME TO SHARE
I’m looking for the right person to share the roomy second floor of a lovely 1930s Duplex. This home has hardwood floors in the living room, two large carpeted bedrooms, a nicely appointed bathroom, a spacious eat-in kitchen (with gas stove) and lots of windows throughout. The house is situated within the Gerstle Park neighborhood close to downtown San Rafael, various grocery stores and easy access to Highway 101. There’s also a thriving garden, outdoor seating, patio and deck with BBQ for you to enjoy.
Bedroom Details:
You will have a dedicated 10’ x 12’ bedroom (including a closet) with a west-facing and north-facing window. Unfurnished or furnished. The photos show current furnishings of armoire, dresser & full bed. You can tastefully repaint the walls to your liking. The bedroom is in the back of the house making for a quieter sanctuary.
Some other tidbits:
Washer/dryer included. This is a smoke free environment (including 420). Small pets are welcome with Landlord approval. I currently have a very friendly small schnauzer/poodle mix. Some storage is available in the garage if needed. Water and garbage is paid by the landlord. We pay for Internet and PG&E (but rooftop solar helps keep costs down). We will also split the modest bi-weekly house cleaning fee.

I’m a friendly middle-aged gay man, with a full-time (M-F) job. In my free time, I enjoy gardening and cooking. You are a clean-living, responsible housemate that enjoys collaborative living.

I have been a renter in this home for 21 years and have always loved the ambiance of this property. We are often visited by songbirds, deer, turkeys, and other wild animals (but we are not invaded by them). It’s very special to have a beautiful outdoor space to be in the garden, with a firepit, or just chill with some wine.
