Private Bed & Bath in 2 Bed Apt

Looking for a roommate to occupy the open bedroom in the apartment I'm renting! It's a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment so you'll have your own private bedroom & bath. We'll share the common living room and kitchen.

ABOUT ME

I’ve lived in California my whole life and the west side of L. A. (Santa Monica/Venice) is my favorite area that I’ve lived. I love the beach and the weather here is perfect! I’m a female in my mid 30s and work as a product consultant for a tech company. I work remotely and am currently on a project that requires me to travel to Austin, TX ~ one week a month. Outside of work, I love to travel, exercise multiple times a week, and enjoy meeting up with friends for happy hour, coffee, or spend quality time over a nice meal. I also enjoy cooking and usually meal prep one night a week (often Sunday evenings). In the past, I’ve done Sunday dinners where I share whatever cook with roommates/ friends!!

I have one cat J. D. who I love to pieces. He’s a playful and sweet 2 year old orange tabby. He's scared of humans when he first meets them but warms up over time.

ABOUT YOU

I’m looking for someone who is:
Happy and friendly; able to communicate and enjoys hanging out once in a while
Responsible and clean - able to pay rent and bills on time
Working professional (ideally between the ages of 27-42 years old) and has a dependable income
Someone who likes to have fun but who also does not bring the party home. The place will be great for having friends over, but it’s important that we respect each other’s personal space as well as the common space
No smoking or drugs
Love furry friends - I’m open to another cat but sorry no dogs
Prefer someone who likes cats as you’ll be alone with my cat every once in a while
No couples will be considered. I’m only looking for one roommate.

THE PLACE
This is a two bedroom two bathroom apartment in the apartment community Lincoln Place. The community has several nice amenities including a gym, pool, and rooftop terrace you'll have access to. It's a little less than 2 miles from the beach which is a convenient 10 minute bike ride away!

We’ll split utilities, internet, shared communal items, and a monthly cleaner.
Estimated cost of your half (will fluctuate, estimate based off prior Santa Monica apt) : $165
Split breakdown estimates: Gas $25, Energy $38, Internet $32, $70 cleaning
Estimated monthly total for private room & bath + shared utilities: 2,390.44

Deposit: $750
Application Fee: $59
You'll be added to the lease and required to pass a credit and background screening.
Terms: 12 month lease that ends 10 June 2024.

Does not come with parking but off-street parking is available for a fee:
$75 lot, $125 for a detached garage
