We have a lovely 3-story townhouse in Signal Hill which overlooks Long Beach and the ocean. When it’s clear, you can even see Catalina!
The room itself is furnished (bed frame optional) and on the cozy side, but the rest of the townhouse is quite spacious. It’s a 3 bed & 2 bathroom home, but one bathroom is attached to the master bedroom, so the other bathroom would be shared between you and the other roommate. This bathroom is also the guest bathroom, so we like to keep it clean.
We have 3 very friendly cats, so sadly no pets allowed (they don’t like other animals). We are friendly, but no smoking inside, and we’d prefer if our future roomie didn’t smoke all the time (trying to be considerate of the neighbors).
It’s a quiet complex with a hot tub and lush landscaping. In the back patio between units there’s a little stream with a bench you can sit on to relax and enjoy your coffee. Parking is on the street, but it’s always readily available no matter the time of day.
We’re looking for someone long term, but in order to make sure it’s a good fit, we’d like to do a 1-2 month lease initially. If it is a good fit, we can extend that lease to a longer term.
About the roomies There’s myself (they/them), my spouse Lauren (they/them), and our roommate Jennifer (she/her). We’re all queer, so being LGBTQ+ friendly is a must.
We’re all very clean and just want someone who is also clean and looking to maintain the peace & good vibes. We like to keep things relatively quiet, but we do have friends over on most Fridays to watch Drag Race or other shows. We’d prefer that whoever moves in doesn’t have guests over every day—once in a while is fine, but we all want to feel comfortable when at home, and it’s hard to relax when constantly hosting.
Open to hanging out and building a friendship with our future roomie, or we can keep to ourselves, all up to you. I work from home, so we’d prefer if whoever moves in is not remote every day or not retired (so they can focus).
