I’ve been a host for over a decade and a half.

Located in the upscale community of Manhattan Beach, this comfy retreat is perfect for short, midterm or long term stays (a month or more)! I would prefer a long term renter (12 months or more) but will consider short or midterm as well!) You'll enjoy your luxurious private room (with secure key code door lock for your comfort) and dedicated bathroom.

The common spaces (living room, dining room, kitchen) are refined yet comfortable. I have four rooms total in my place and currently one other room is occupied. The other guest at this time is male, mid thirties and works in corporate. I am mid fifties, self-employed, I'm not home often, but when I am I'm friendly, respectful and quiet.

The property is steps away from public bus transportation, not too far from the LA Metro service and a quick drive (or Uber) or bike ride from the beach. It takes me 15 minutes to walk to the beach from the property (I’m a brisk walker.) There are restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store within walking distance.

This is a smoke-free and shoe-free home. Low-key, quiet household. No loud parties, etc.

Amenities include all linens, ample storage for clothing in the good sized closet and dresser, workspace for anyone who works from home, huge walk-in shower in the bathroom, toasty warm space heater for those rare chilly SoCal days, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, oven, coffee maker and washer dryer in the unit.

Unfortunately, although I LOVE animals, I am HIGHLY allergic to pet dander, so I can’t host animals on the property.
