Sunny Room and Bath Available in Oakland Apartment

Seeking a clean, communicative, dog-friendly housemate to live with my current housemate and their small poodle in a furnished 1245sqft apartment on the border of Oakland and Emeryville.

ABOUT THE APARTMENT
The apartment is an upper duplex and it gets a lot of sun, which has been great for plants. The neighbors are super friendly and we sometimes get together with them. The apartment was recently remodeled and has all brand new, energy efficient appliances (dishwasher, laundry in unit) and central heating and cooling!

Utilities are already set up in the apartment and come up to ~$100 per person (water, garbage, wifi, electric and gas).

YOUR ROOM
200 sqft, unfurnished, spacious and gets a lot of light. While this is a 3bd/2ba, the plan is to share with ONE person. The third room serves as a guest room, home gym (with weights and a mirror wall), creative art room, spare living room and office space (has a standing desk).

LOCATION:
The apartment is conveniently situated just a 10-minute walk from MacArthur BART station, Temescal, and from Pixar Animation Studios. 5-min walk to 72 and 57 bus lines. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes, gyms, grocery stores, and retail shopping.

I don’t have a car, and I've been able to commute to SF very easily. It’s flat and easy and safe to walk around even later in the day. There’s usually a lot of street parking on my street.

I’ve lived in the area for the past 7 months and it’s been great! I love that Oakland is always much warmer than SF. I enjoy getting brunch at The Sunday, getting pastries and sometimes working from Burlap coffee, getting Vietnamese food from CoNam, Taiwanese food from Pixiu Mala, Ethiopian food from Asmara (which has beenthere for like 30 years) Colombian food from Cholita Linda, donuts from Lee’s Donuts and endless ice cream from Curbside Creamery.
