Hi! i’m looking for a new roommate in my 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom apartment in downtown Oakland. Rent is 1200 for your room and private bathroom, and then utilites are split down the middle. Pge is about 180- 200 a month, Water is 160-180 a month. Because it’s been summer these prices have been on the higher side. And internet is optic fiber 60 a month flat. On average my old roommate paid the most 225 for all utilities together. So rent + utilities = 1425 overall, again i will be splitting whatever utilities is with you each month, im not about to charge you a flat rate for things we aren’t using. There is a dog deposit and monthly rent if you want to bring ur pets, as well as a fee for the parking garage if you choose to use it. The apartment is 8 min walk to bart and lake merritt is like a 10 minute walk away. Whole foods is a 20 min walk or 5 min drive and so is Trader Joe’s. I’m right in between downtown oakland and lake merritt so there are PLENTY of restaurants around.
