*The Room*
This room currently fits a queen-size bed, a dresser, a tv, and small-sized furniture pieces. It has its own AC unit. It features a big window and has a private balcony too. You will be sharing a bathroom with one other roomie. Since this room doesn't have a closet, there's a closet near our entryway that is entirely yours. Rent is $1400

*The Building*
The building is about 5 years old and includes a rooftop, a small gym, mail room, garbage rooms on every floor, bike storage, and a parking garage. Our apartment has a nice balcony for hanging out on or getting some work done, and you also have your own private balcony. The kitchen features standard appliances (oven, dishwasher, fridge, etc.) and a washer/dryer (!). The live-in super makes all maintenance requests in timely manner. The only utilities we pay for are electricity and internet.

*The Location*
This location cannot be beat. We?re right off the Lorimer Street/Metropolitan L and G (less than a 5 minute walk), which means it takes 10 minutes by train to get to Manhattan, and you have easy access to Brooklyn spots like Fort Greene, Prospect Park, Downtown Brooklyn, DUMBO, Barclays, AND easy access to Queens (Court Square, Astoria, LIC).

There are endless restaurants, cafes, shops, and grocery stores all within walking distance. Bedford Ave and McCaren park are 5 minutes by foot, Domino Park is a 13 minute walk, and we?re located on a quiet street just far enough to offer a peaceful reprieve from all the action.

I cannot stress just how convenient it is to live at this spot. You?re within minutes of all that NYC has to offer!

*The Vibe*
My current roomie and I are both very mellow and easy to get along with and I would like to keep the vibe that way. Everyone does their fair part of keeping the apartment clean and respecting each other?s spaces. If you?re someone that prefers to keep the party elsewhere and use home as your peaceful retreat, this is the spot for you :) This spot is LGBTQ+ friendly, 420 friendly, and best suited for people who treated others with kindness.

We also have a very adorable cat that is super friendly. If you are allergic, this might not be the best spot for you. Otherwise, I promise you'll fall in love with her.

As a result of COVID-19, we try to keep guest interactions limited to the rooftop, or in our separate rooms so that everyone feels safe and comfortable. Please note that if you come to see the room, I will ask you to keep a mask on during the tour!

*To Secure The Room*
Our property management company would need you to fill out an application, provide proof of income via your two most recent paystubs, a copy of your ID, and a $20 fee. Move-in date is October 1, 2020 and the lease is for one year. If something does come up and you have to break the lease, our landlord allows you to do so without any fees, so long as you find someone to replace you on the lease.
