Howdy!
I'm looking for someone to take over a bedroom in a relatively quiet part of Williamsburg. As mentioned in the title you don't need to sign a lease, and can be on board month to month in case you are looking for a more flexible situation. If you're looking for something more concrete then we can arrange a lease, but the option for flexibility is there and the rent reflects that.
The bedroom in the pictures would be yours(excuse the clutter, my current roommate is in the process of moving his things across town to a new place) and it will be empty when you want to move in. You are also pretty welcome to any sort of decorative creative control in any of the shared areas, I'm 100% open to anything in that regard, so you would have license to decorate/rearrange however you want. There's a kitchen and bathroom with all the necessities, but there's space to bring any appliances or whatever you'd like.
AREA: The building is right off of Bedford and south of the bridge. There is a grocery store right across the street, its a 10 minute walk to the Marcy JMZ and a 15 minute walk to the Bedford L. Domino Park is 10 minutes away, and there is lots of cool Williamsburg stuff to do without it being too loud or crazy right on the street.
ROOMMATE: That's me! I'm a 25 year old guy, I've been living here for about a year. I don't have any specific requirements or anything about who you are or what you're into, I would love to be friendly with someone but I can respect if you just want to live here and keep to yourself too! When things are normal(who knows when that'll be the case again) I usually work out of the house during the day, currently I am commuting to my job so I spend a lot of time out of the house. I'm totally cool with drinking/smoking/whatever. I'm clean but not like "checking for dust with white gloves" clean, so if you pick up after yourself you're A1 in my book.
VIRUS: I believe in taking the pandemic situation seriously, wearing a mask out of the house, social distancing etc. Personally I am not super worried but I want to be as respectful of your concerns as possible. Let me know what that means for you, and if there's anything I can do before you tour the place.
I'd be asking for first month and a deposit, but I am flexible if that's an issue. You'll get the deposit back when you move out! Utilities usually end up being ~$40.
I think that about covers it, but feel free to text me with any questions you may have! I'm psyched to meet you!
