Large room available in a lovely big 2br apartment located on one of the most beautiful streets in Williamsburg. It?s quiet and residential with Cooper Park at one end of the block. The L train at Graham avenue is only a few minutes walk.
This is a huge 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor of a 3 story townhouse. Each bedroom is on opposite sides of the apartment, allowing for total privacy. The home is centered by a large living room with a fireplace, huge flat screen TV with huge open walk-in kitchen to the right with a dining room table. These are unheard of features in just about any New York City apartment and if that weren?t enough, the landlady grants access to the backyard complete with gas-fired barbecue.

The room is spacious (12? x 9.5?) with a giant wall length closet and high ceiling. It?s furnished with queen bed and other furniture but that can be taken out if you have your own stuff.

I'm male, work in the city (9 - 5 schedule) and have lived in this apartment for 12 years now. I love the neighborhood and get involved in a bit of local politics. I like a quietish, relaxed, clean apartment. I?m easy going but too old for nonsense. I'm taking covid precautions seriously and looking for a roommate who does likewise.

I am currently back in Scotland taking care of my mother and don't anticipate returning for at least 2 months (which is all contingent on the covid situation). A friend of mine is arranging viewings while I'm away. We can discuss length of stay and other arrangements over the phone/Whatsapp.
